I received my bachelor’s degree from DePauw University with a major in Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics. I am a joint graduate student with Dr. Amber Krummel. My research is focused on developing an implicit solvation method for chloroform by reducing the number of parameters needed. Development of efficient solvation methods will allow the simulation of large self-assembling or aggregating systems which can then be compared to experimental observables like the multidimensional spectroscopies used in the Krummel group.
